Windows Phone Marketplace now has 100,000 published apps, counts Words with Friends and Draw Something among 'em

It's not quite App Store numbers, but the Windows Phone Marketplace has finally managed to break the six-digit published apps barrier (making good on the promise of all those app submissions) as Microsoft just announced that its mobile users now have over 100,000 apps to choose from. And, while it may not be as big a deal as multi-core proccessor support, a new Start screen, or turn-by-turn navigation, Microsoft just told of two more apps that'll be popping up in the Marketplace soon. That's right, a duo of Zynga's most popular titles, Words with Friends and Draw Something, are coming to Windows Phone. Congratulations, all you Microsoft mobile aficionados, your time-wasting can now reach levels previously seen only by your iOS and Android-toting friends.

(AP) ? A group of feminist punk rockers must remain behind bars as police investigate them for chanting a "punk prayer" against Russian President Vladimir Putin from a church pulpit, a court ruled Wednesday. The decision angered the band's supporters and drew condemnation from a top German human rights official.

Five members of Pussy Riot ? wearing brightly colored homemade ski masks and miniskirts ? briefly seized the pulpit of Moscow's main Orthodox church, the Christ the Savior Cathedral, in February and chanted "Mother Mary, drive Putin away."

A video of the performance posted on the Internet shows churchgoers gazing on astonished as the women chant, high-kick and dance around from the pulpit, and then appear to bow and bless themselves as security arrives to remove them.

Three band members ? Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, 23, Maria Alekhina, 24, and Yekaterina Samutsevich, 29 ? were arrested and face up to seven years in jail on hooliganism charges.

An investigator petitioned to keep them in prison while the police probe continues, and on Wednesday, a Tagansky district court judge ruled the three will remain held until July 24.

Their cause and the Russian Orthodox Church's harsh response have provoked public outcry.

Outside the court building, police detained about 20 people as dozens of the band's supporters whistled in unison, chanted anti-Kremlin slogans and clashed with Orthodox activists who called on the band members "to repent."

Pussy Riot gained notoriety in January for performing a song taunting Putin ? who was then prime minister ? from a spot on Red Square used in czarist Russia for announcing government decrees. Videos of their performances became instant Internet hits.

The band's "punk prayer" took place two weeks before March's presidential vote. Putin won a third presidential term despite a wave of massive protests against his rule.

The church says the women deserve to be prosecuted for their "blasphemous" performance from a place near the altar that no lay persons are allowed to enter, although thousands of believers have signed a petition urging the church to forgive the band.

Attorneys for the band members argued that they should be released because they have young children.

The German government's human rights commissioner, Markus Loening, said he was "dismayed" by the decision to extend the band members' custody and called for their immediate release.

"This decision is clearly directed against freedom of opinion and artistic freedom and, in view of the consequences of nearly four months of custody for the families and children of the women, absolutely disproportionate," Loening said in a statement.

Although church and state are separate under Russia's constitution, the Russian Orthodox Church has claimed a leading role in setting moral guidelines for society. Its growing prominence has caused concern among followers of minority faiths and nonreligious Russians.

RIM says first new device won't have keyboard

(AP) ? The first BlackBerry device running Research In Motion's new software will not have a physical keyboard.

Instead, it will have only a touch-screen keyboard.

Research in Motion Ltd. spokeswomen Rebecca Freiburger said Thursday that the new BlackBerry 10 software will be offered on devices with physical keyboards in the future, but she declined to say when

RIM's touch-screen offerings have largely flopped. The development will likely disappoint people who favor the keyboard over the touch screen and who have been waiting for the much-delayed new BlackBerrys.

RIM's hopes hang on BlackBerry 10, which is meant to offer the multimedia, Internet browsing and apps experience customers now demand. RIM is preparing to launch the new software later this year, just as North Americans are abandoning BlackBerrys for iPhones and Android devices.

'Breaking Dawn' Trailer: Where Is Renesmee?

New clip gives fans a precious — though tantalizingly brief — glimpse at the newest member of the Cullen family.

So how about that new "Twilight: Breaking Dawn- Part 2" trailer? Now that we've watched it a few dozen times, we can take a step back to analyze our favorite moments.

First, how great is it to finally get a glimpse of all those other vampires we've been talking about? Finally a first look at Garrett the nomad, played by the divine Lee Pace, as well as Benjamin, Irina and a few others.

But there's one character we wish we saw a little bit more of: Renesmee. Not that we blame Summit and Co. for waiting to reveal more of little Mackenzie Foy-as-Renesmee closer to the film's release, but it would have been nice to see her in action with her parents, interacting with the other Cullens or playing with Jacob.

The moments that we do get to see are very sweet. Fans around the world have been expressing their delight over one scene in particular: when Bella is putting her daughter to bed and tells her "I'll never let anybody hurt you."

"The way vampire Bella looks at Renesmee reminds me of Edwards quote from Twilight... 'You are my life now' :')," one Mackenzie Foy fan tweeted. A fellow fan called the moment "10 seconds of perfection."

In addition to the high praise from fans, that tender moment between mother and daughter has already been given the GIF treatment on several Tumblr blogs.

With all this love for the happy family and that precocious young lady Renesmee, we surely hope we'll get to see more of her in the next trailer.

Check out everything we've got on "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2."
