The Anonymous Society of Artists will be participating in ?Romanza on Aviles? from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11, a special art event organized and sponsored by the Aviles Street Merchants Association.
Beginning at 9 a.m., the group and several other St. Augustine artists will be painting en plein air at locations along historic Aviles Street.
The paintings will be created outdoors from start to finish ? and starting at 4 p.m. the works of art will be displayed and made available for sale inside Aviles Street galleries and establishments. The paintings will be exhibited through Sunday evening.
Live music also wil be featured throughout the day, along with Romanza-themed menus in Aviles Street?s many restaurants.
